Overall the certified staff are great but definitely need to screen and supervise the "teachers" more close. Toddlers need positive guidance and a patient educator... unfortunately this is not always the case :(
Hi, My name is Rose Popp I am the Director here and I have been at this facility for 16 1/2 years. I was amazed to see recently the two "bad" reviews that are still here and still say 1 year ago and two years ago as their published dates. These two reviews have been on here for more than five years. I have no way of knowing how the dates stay the same. All I can comment on is that when I first noticed them, I noticed that it was obvious from the wording that their children had not attended this facility. I don't know if it was a personal problem or what but we have been going along great for years including going on to accreditation this year. As for the comment about the pre-school program, I will personally put this program up against any program out there for the most up to date knowledge for social and intellectual growth for children. We have some employees that have been here for anywhere from five to thirteen years. That says a lot for our program which we work hard at and are very proud of. I have now asked parents to add anything that they would like to say about the program for you to get a real true meaning of of our days here at the Academy Of Learning.
I have been bringing my daughter here for almost 2yrs now. I know shes safe and having fun while I'm working, and even better she learns ALOT too. (shes two 1/2 and knows her ABC's & several nursery rhymes) Also, all teachers are very qualified have teaching degrees and are Red Cross certified in safety, CPR, and blood borne pathogens. Needless to say my daughter and I both absolutely LOVES this place and the wonderful ladies that work here. :-)
Most staff are friendly and a good place to work for. While working there I thought someone should have trained me more in the classroom.
I have been bringing my newborn here for 4 months. It's very easy for me to leave her here knowing she is loved. I leave all my supplies here which means all i have to bring is my baby and bottles which makes my morning very stress free. LOVE IT!!!!
