If & when the Loogootee store opens up again, they will continue to have my business as their manager & his son have always been very polite to myself & my family. I had purchased several pieces of furniture through the Loogootee store.
Takes quite a while for the furniture to come in,other than that it is a really nice store.
Our contractors chose Englert's for our plumbing, heating and air, and geothermal which costed us conservatively $15,000 +. We built our house approximately a year ago, and we called Englert's when we had a pipe burst on a Saturday morning (just one of this issues we've had with our water pump). They, of course, couldn't make it out for the repair so we called anther plumber who happily came and fixed it. A couple of months later we called about our air conditioning unit (in late July), and didn't receive a phone call back until around 24 hours later, even though the repair man tried to make it sound like he immediately called us back.
If you live in Jasper I'm sure they are great. Unfortunately, they aren't the best with service outside their zip code, and we will not be calling them for future repairs.
Loved the Loogootee store! However, the Jasper store does not have well mannered or considerate customer service or sales associates. We were told when we purchased our lift chair & couch that they would have a one year warranty. Now we are being told that they were both sold as is(even though the lift chair is being repaired at their cost & it has been under a year since the purchase date). They have had our lift chair far longer than the 2-3 weeks they said it would take to fix it and that doesn't include the month it took them upon my calling to actually come get it. (Only when I called again did they put us in their schedule to come look at it, not pick it up for repair) Having an issue with the couch purchased is a whole new issue!
